Canola Oil Omega 3 Skin
Canola oil is made from the seeds of the rapeseed plant. Rapeseed is primarily grown in Canada, and canola oil is the most commonly used oil in Canada. It is a mono-unsaturated oil, like olive oil, and is high in omega 3 oils. It has an ideal ratio of omega 6 to omega 3 (2:1), and provides essential nutrition for both people and pets. In particular, canola oil helps maintain your pet’s healthy skin and coat.
A healthy coat is shiny and soft to touch. Healthy skin is clear, with no lesions, infected areas or flaking. Healthy skin and coat are dependent on the proper ratio of omega oils. Omega 3 oils are essential nutrients for pets, but so are omega 6 oils.
